The Story
Growing up in the 90s I used watch the Sunday night 8:00PM - 10:00PM Eastern primetime block on Fox 5 every week. If you grew up at that time you know X-Files was the 9PM - 10PM finale.
The starting point for this track was the unforgettably eerie melody of the main X-Files theme which I re-arranged with modern synths and guitar. On top of the beat I laid down some bars which hop around between themes of government conspiracy, climate change, growing up and personal philosophy with X-Files references scattered throughout.
